So very plush-- you can see the vertical single knit/purl lines, the recessed purl areas, and the glorious fat K1B rows-- there's a little bit of almost every texture in this ensemble, to the child's great comfort. Sweater is conventionally made in pieces; cardigan is worked all in one piece to the armholes, then split for fronts and back. Front bands are knit separately, then sewn on after the neckband is complete. Hat and thumbless mitts are knit flat and seamed. Original Baby Quick was 168 yds/154m to 50g; try the Robin DK today instead, making sure to get gauge.
