We were tripping around the internet recently and found references to this design over and over. It seems to be some kind of remarkable standard: people make this time and again, for boys and girls of all its possible ages, in all kinds of styles of yarn. We can see why. It's deliciously simple, with its plain st st back and cabled front; it has drop shoulders, but the sleeve caps are rounded off for a better fit. The hood is a wonderful option, or you can opt to omit it and stick with the timeless crew neck. Just a classic with the broadest kind of appeal.
