Dvorak has his New World Symphony and Joaquin Rodrigo his Concierto de Aranjuez. This, ladies and gentlemen, is the design that (in our opinion) best sums up Nicholas's many contributions to our craft. The wide, then narrowing neck integrated into the overall design; the startling use of bright colour in the cabling; the bold, playful graphic combined with said cabling; and the embroidered embellishment on top of it all, a third layer of colour and texture. Here the layers and treatments of colour all merge and interfeed and overlap, like layers of enamel and glaze. The graphic's chart is a very good size and spreads over two pages on the PDF-- you will need to cut and tape, but it will be easy. Gauge given is over the colour panel, which is on the garment's front only.
