"This festive scarf is just perfect to make for yourself or to give as a gift to perk up the holiday season!" says the designer. We like the wonderful combination of background colour and texture stitch-- to us it looks like a brick chimney (so festive) with decorative holly leaves. Mixing up disciplines is always amusing: the appliqued leaves are fun to sew on... perhaps this could be a little person's contribution? It's straightforward, but not boring, and thick and warm to boot. Gauge is 18 stitches to 4"/10cm on a US8/H/5mm hook.
